Our brief: How can Colombia build capacity for tech start-ups and accelerators to help them grow fast?
What we did: Accelerate UK was a 10-day immersive training programme for Colombian innovators run in partnership with Nesta and iNNpulsa, Colombia’s innovation agency. The programme included training and skills development, access to networks, and the seeding of long-term collaborative partnerships.
What happened: The feedback from our Colombian guests was overwhelmingly positive, participants being excited to learn new ways to grow and collaborate and to gather useful contacts to take home. Each person returned to Colombia having pledged a set of actions to progress their businesses. At least one formal business collaboration between delegates resulted whilst still in the UK.
