Our brief: How can UK start-ups from the advanced urban services sector build the networks and know-how to develop business in India?

What we did: 100%Open co-designed and facilitated the Connected Cities India mission. Our Venture Radar service identified suitable mission participants and our coaching team prepared them for pitching in an Indian business culture. Our network provided a local in-mission partner to match-make and oversee the programme.

What happened: Mission participants successfully connected with relevant local companies and the majority identified specific opportunities, as well as meeting the UK Prime Minister in Delhi. New partnerships were kick-started, both with local customers and between mission participants themselves. 100%Open has also been engaged in Future Cities Missions to Singapore, Malaysia and China.
