Procter and Gamble

Proctor and Gamble logoWhen difference and diversity come together, they make something special.
Each person brings individual quality, specific skills, and specialised understanding to a situation. Organisations work together to bridge empty space with innovation, promise and potential.

Recently, 100% Open worked with Procter & Gamble to help them envisage a new way of opening joint venture and opportunity.

We used our JAM programmes to spark a vision of collaborative research opportunities. We brought together people, ideas and imagination from Procter & Gamble, and several other non-competitive companies and institutions in a fusion of skills, disciplines and backgrounds that embodies the very spirit of co-operative innovation.

Acting as a neutral agent, 100% Open designed and led a series of two day workshops. We were a catalyst between these diverse participants, inspiring conversation and providing an open arena to develop joint research proposals.

“100% Open did a great job at helping us rapidly develop a new approach to co-creating major collaborative research project proposals with our partners” Michael Duncan, Director of Connect & Develop EMEA, Procter & Gamble

Within the JAM workshops, we promoted a natural awareness of individual and group capabilities in the sharing of thoughts and ideas. Participants designed proposals for specific technology solutions that met both imminent and long-term goals. We helped the groups to channel their ideas and reach a series of agreed proposals for collaborative research, each of which is currently in the process of development.

We are delighted that P&G are aiming to launch this approach across other areas of research and with its wide range of partners.

Bringing together different groups each with something to offer, a value to share and a vision for development, is a model of innovation through collaboration. It is the future of successful partnerships.
